What is a Coaching Intervention?
A Coaching Intervention is when you step into a coaching activity to either highlight something that was done well or to fix something you would like to see done better.
Your Coaching Intervention will usually be related to your session topic or one of your key session objectives.
Effective Coaching Interventions
I find that some of the best learning opportunities on coaching courses come from informal conversations between sessions.
I was having a brief chat with Irish FA Walter Bleakle when he gave his simple definition of how to deliver a coaching point.
The players must:
